Fruit and vegetable carving
These were some pictures during the on the spot fruit and vegetable carving at the Apprentice Frontier more commonly known as APRON. It is held at Hotel Stotsenberg in Clarkfield Pampanga. It is a culinary skills competition, like that of Chefs on Parade and Gastronomia. The vegetable used here were carrots, squash, radish, and eggplant. While watermelon, melons and apples are the fruits used. They used carving tools here and they come in a set. Practice is really a great factor to hone your carving skills. These a good buffet centerpieces!
